Marina Nelkin's Story

Labor of Love

Marina Nelkin has been a loyal Sutter patient for quite some time. Ten years ago, a Sutter doctor delivered her son, and since that time, she has taken him to Pediatrician Anna Derdzinska, M.D., for pediatric care.

In early 2008, she became pregnant again, but her age and other factors indicated a high risk pregnancy.

“There was no doubt I was already in the best hands possible,” she says.

“Both doctors have that personal touch… they’re like family. They always go the extra mile, speak honestly, explain my options and are great listeners. I can see they clearly love what they do.”

On November 29th, Marina gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
