Your Generosity Makes a Difference
Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation’s (SSCF) purpose is to help meet the growing needs of the Sutter Solano Medical Center, a 102-bed acute care hospital in Vallejo, and Sutter Regional Medical Foundation that operates care centers in Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo and Rio Vista. These two Sutter affiliates enhance the health and well-being of the people in the communities they serve and depend on philanthropy to help fund comprehensive health care programs, services for under-served patients, and capital projects like cutting-edge technology and new facilities.
While Sutter administrators work hard to make their money stretch as far as they can, there is invariably a gap between what is needed and what the budgets can provide. The generosity of individuals and corporate donors is invaluable to helping to bridge that gap. To learn more about how you can improve health care in Solano County, call 707-554-5095.
Golden Heart Ball a Success
Last November, SSCF held its first Golden Heart Ball where guests enjoyed a festive evening of dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions at the beautiful Green Valley Country Club. Our volunteer event planners were pleased that the ball provided a lovely social opportunity for Solano County residents, and more importantly, it was an opportunity for the community to raise more than $150,000 for health care.
SSCF’s Board of Trustees would like to thank everyone who participated in making the first Golden Heart Ball such a great success. They would also like to invite you to mark your calendar now for this year’s event, which will take place on Saturday, November 15.
