Getting A Position At Sutter Solano
Interested in employment with Sutter Solano Medical Center? Complete an application form available through the Human Resources Department or apply online on our website. The Human Resources staff reviews the applicants' skills to determine which candidates meet the qualifications for the open positions.
If the results of the preliminary review and reference checks are favorable, the department director or supervisor who is managing the hiring decision may interview the applicant. The department director or supervisor makes the final decision.
In order to be eligible for employment, every potential employee must pass a medical examination (after receiving the position offer, but before beginning work), which includes a drug/alcohol screening test. This examination is performed by Occupational Health Services at no charge to the prospective employee. If, for any reason, the physical examination leads to a recommendation for further consultation or treatment, the individual will be referred to his or her personal physician for any needed follow-up.
Final offers of employment depend on acceptable results of this examination, in accordance with ADA standards, the ability to provide evidence of a legal right to be employed in the United States, and evidence of a current license or registration, if required for a position.
