As a community-based hospital, Sutter Solano sponsors and participates in numerous health events, supports many health care initiatives and provides charity care for those in need.
In 2006, Sutter Solano invested $13.2 million back into our community. Some of these community-based services included:- Sustaining the commitment to our community-based mission of providing care to the underserved and uninsured by proudly providing more than $12.8 million in charity care
- Supporting the Partnership HealthPlan of California, the Great Beginnings Perinatal Program and the Solano Coalition for Better Health
- Providing community education lectures, support groups, health screenings and fairs, general health information and leadership participation in community activities
- Providing Service First, a program that funds up to $100 for individual patient expenses
