Calendar of Events at Sutter Solano

At Sutter Solano Medical Center, we strive to identify and meet local health care needs. Providing health information, classes and events are ways we can give back to our community. We have developed several programs to inform and educate Solano County residents about a number of health concerns.

AARP "55 Alive" Safe Driving Course
AARP conducts a safe driving course, an eight-hour class over two days, at Sutter Solano Medical Center. Call 707-554-5066 for more information.

Cancer Support Group
Research shows that patients and their family members have an improved quality of life when they have the help of a support group. Sutter Solano’s Cancer Support Group meets on the first and third Mondays of every month, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at the Sutter Solano Cancer Center. Prostate Cancer Lecture and Screening
Sutter Regional Medical Foundation and Sutter Solano Medical Center annually host a free Prostate Cancer Lecture and Screening in September. For more information, contact the Sutter Solano Cancer Resource Center at 707-554-5326.

Skin Cancer Screening
In association with Solano Dermatology Associates, Sutter Solano Medical Center annually conducts free Skin Cancer Screenings and a Lecture in May. For more information, contact the Sutter Solano Cancer Resource Center at 707-554-5326.
