About Us

Sutter Solano Medical Center has been serving the residents of Solano County for more than 100 years. The medical center has 111 licensed beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Formerly known as Vallejo General Hospital, the medical center was established in 1921 and moved to its present location in 1969. The hospital affiliated with Sutter Health in 1984, ensuring its ability to continue providing and improving health care and wellness services to the community.

As part of Sutter Health, a family of not-for-profit hospitals and physician organizations, Sutter Solano shares resources and expertise to advance health care quality. Providing personalized care in more than 100 communities throughout Northern California, the Sutter Health network is a regional leader in cardiac care, cancer treatment, orthopedics, obstetrics, and newborn intensive care, and is a pioneer in patient safety technology.

Annual Report to The Community

Each year, Sutter Solano Medical Center publishes an annual report to the community. The report provides a brief summary of the overall "State of the Organization" at the end of the year, including financial health, quality and any other major items of note.
